Certain major steps are taken and goals are as under:
1) Forestation By Mehtabi:
Mehtabi acquired 200 ACRES of land in Sindh Province (Gharo/Sakhro road 15km) in November 2022 for the purpose of Eucalyptus Tree Forest, to naturalize carbon emissions, at this very day we are testing different species of eucalyptus with consultants and in March planning to sow seeds. By the year 2029 we will achieve a complete forest and will be acquiring more lands in different parts of country for forest developments to set off carbon footprints.
2) Renewable Energy Projects:
Mehtabi is proactive in renewable energy avenues and planning 100% energy utilization through greener means by the year 2030, through solar panels. Pipe line project also include 5-7 Megawatts of solar farm on M9 Highway at 12 acers land on which land is acquired already and getting approvals and documentation from departments.
3) Waste Recycling:
Waste management and upcycling is a core element to reduce carbon impact so Mehtabi is planning to install cotton recycling line to reuse waste cotton fiber and to recreate Textiles and garments. Used clothes/cutting wastage/rejections/loom and knitting wastages can be recycled through this line and recreating fibers for yarn spinning.

Mukhtar Ahmed Malik (Late) Chairman
Mukhtar Ahmed Malik (Late) who laid the strong foundation of Mehtabi Towel Mills was among one of pioneer in Textile and Towel Industry of Pakistan and well-known in Local and International Textile and Towel Industry. He is also among the founding members of TMA in Pakistan and has funded various textile institutions and associations which helped Pakistan to become one of the largest exporter of Towels and Textile Made-ups in the world.
Iftikhar Ahmed Malik C.E.O
Iftikhar Ahmed Malik is one of the leading businessman in towel and textile industry. He is in business with his father since the beginning of Mehtabi hence gaining skills and expertise from his father. His help to his father has reached Mehtabi from a small business to a well-known established Towel Industry. He is also very active in progressing Towel and Textile Industry of Pakistan by Participating and funding Various Textile Associations.
Ahsan Malik Director
